Key accountabilities are strategy business development and leadership. Effective implementation, monitoring and evaluation of strategies and business to execute targets are met in respect of profitability. Development of strategy to achieve best customer/product supply chain practice. Development and education of a marketing strategy/ plan to achieve market growth. Achievement of direct customer sales above 80% of turnover. Risk management of lumber marketing operations. Identification, development, implementation of annual risk plan for the business unit.
Qualification and experience is a degree or diploma in Wood technology. A relevant 3 year degree in Marketing will be an added advantage. 10 years sawmilling/ processing experience. 3 years experience in Senior management role.
