Established in 1974, one of the leading producers of ethylene and low density polyethylene (LDPE) in the Middle East Region.
Duration:
3 years renewable contract, and the job is permanent and family status, however during the probation period it will be single status

Remuneration:
USD2000 per month TAX FREE cash package incl. Purpose of the job:
To carry out plant-related activities as per standard operating instructions or on the direct instructions from the Board Man / Shift coordinator / Shift Specialist, and to record data related to process and machines at defined intervals
Min. Requirements:
• Secondary School (12 years) Education in Science Stream, followed by specific training
• 3 years of plant experience including on and off the job training
• Must be computer literate
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Monitors field equipment in the assigned section during the shift period
• Collects and records various data related to the process / field equipment in the assigned section, detects abnormal operating conditions and reporting the to the superiors
• Ensures availability of different chemical preparations required in the process
• Prepares the equipment for hand over to Maintenance an then returning to service in a safe, efficient and environmentally sound manner
• Works under the direction of the Board man / shift coordinator / shift specialist, to shut down or start up equipment using standard procedures during normal or abnormal plant conditions
• Ensures loading / unloading of raw materials / products in bulk
• Attends to plant emergencies such as fire, gas leaks etc. under the direction of the Shift leader
